The king room was freshly decorated with big windows, the bed was very comfy.

The family room I was assigned had a large window and a small kitchen.

We stayed in a quiet double room with a charming farm atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we checked in!

We had a fantastic two-night stay during the beginning of our Iceland trip, enjoying the incredible location near a half-day riding excursion called "The Meadow" and just a short distance from La Art Museum.

This place has a prime location close to a geothermal river, and the room had a lovely view with a super comfy bed and included shampoo and soap in the bathroom.

Amazing and superb breakfast with diferent local food, scrambled eggs. Spotless and silent rooms with hästen beds and the location is INCREDIBLE.

Beds were extremely hard.

The location was marvelous and beautiful for exploring the area near Hveragerdi, with walks, the town, The Meadow, and the mountains all close by. The rooms were tidy, huge, and had lovely beds.

The hotel's grounds were well-maintained. The breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the South Coast and being close to various attractions and the town center. I had a lovely stay during the first two nights of our Iceland trip.

Perfect and stunning location to Hveragerdi Church. And close enough to The Meadow, the geothermal river, and Hveragerdi.

Great Riding

We had an amazing experience riding horses from Eldhestar. Despite the winter weather, the staff provided us with waterproof gear and assigned horses based on our experience. The tölt was exhilarating and the horses were sure-footed. The staff's enthusiasm and the midway hot drinks made the ride even more enjoyable. We're already considering coming back for one of the longer tours. The hotel Eldhestar was a perfect base for our stay, and the shuttle bus from Reykjavik was a convenient perk. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic riding experience.

Had 1 day in Hveragerdi, spending our time here really good! Truly enjoyed the price of our guest room with hästens beds and its essentials. An electronic key card, a work desk, and television were a nice touch. The service was good, that made the hotel lovely welcoming place.

Pity, but the beds were horribly hard.

Very clean, nice staff! . Breakfast was good. Rooms beautiful and functional. Food is just Scandinavian and little seasoned for us southerners.

The breakfast was not unusual, but adequate.

There was no hairdryer in the room.

The value for money was exceptional, especially considering the beautiful location. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Anna at the front desk. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with big windows that provided a lovely view of the surroundings. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with selfmade waffles and DIY pancakes included!

No complaints at all, everything was perfect.
